Spring on Special

The Stellenbosch Slow Market is hosting a “Spring on Special” market day, on Saturday, 16 September from 9am to 2pm at the Oude Libertas Estate, to offer discounts and specials on end of season fashion ranges, food, handmade and organic products.

The market is welcoming and celebrating spring with bargain prices and specials at each stall. The community is invited to sample fresh-farm ingredients, delicious desserts and tasty beverages. Come and meet the people behind the products from local farms, businesses as well as food producers.

The market will boast a wide variety of trader and artisans. The day will also be celebrated with bright and vibrant colours, fresh blooms and all things natural.

Enjoy food, beverages, live music, sidewalk specials and a family-friendly day of fun!

Clothing and jewellery shops at the market include; Megan B Hand Stitched Leather bags, Euvella suede and silver jewellery, KC design handmade clothing, Nika Children’s Clothing, Stellies TM. Arnold leather shoes for males will be at the market and will be selling hand stitched leather shoes of high quality.

Drop your kids off at our supervised children’s playground while you shop to your hearts content! Spring into action and take advantage of our traders’ end of range stock and fashions and receive massive savings!

The market, which has been operating continuously for more than a decade, has over 100 traders, all of which will be there, selling fresh, artisan breads, German cakes, organic vegetables and delicious street food.

The Slow Market is a reinvention of the public market place and aims to support small businesses marginalised by mainstream retail. It is community orientated and well-loved in Stellenbosch where it has been established as a leading gourmet market.

The Slow Market, is an “all weather market” and its indoor venue and tents, provide for a perfect outing, despite rainy weather.
